Overview

Location:  Howard County, Maryland

 

Travel:  Local travel required

Education:  HSD required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

 

Experience:  5-10 years’ experience, in some combination, in sales, marketing, law enforcement or in a client facing role where interaction with law enforcement, the court system, and school officials. Experience at the Sergeant, Lieutenant, Chief, or higher level of law enforcement would be preferred.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and build trust and good working client relationships by understanding our contractual agreements and deliverables as well as client's overall business goals and immediate needs
  • Establish and manage the overall client relationship with key internal decision makers
  • Communications management – clients, internal employees, and external vendors. Requires collaboration and ability to manage complex tasks
  • Reporting key performance metrics to client and organization. Provide insights and articulate key actions we need to take to be successful
  • Manage satisfaction feedback and problem solving
  • Required to work closely with law enforcement agencies (sheriff’s offices, local police departments) and municipal and county court representatives
  • Local travel - meet with teams, clients and attend any training programs to ensure overall success.

  • Well-developed communication, problem-solving and people skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and exceed expectations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative consistently producing accurate and timely work
  • Organized- must be able to manage different clients at once and transfer on going information and updates to team and executives.
  • Identifies and challenges longstanding structural barriers to meet goals. Consistently challenges his/her thinking to go beyond the constraints for continuous improvement of processes, tools and procedures that will add value to our business.
  • Proactively surfaces and works through team barriers to initiate change (e.g., deals with change resistors, ensures buy-in and resources). Mobilizes and influences self/employee commitment for accepting and adapting to change
  • Embraces, encourages, and supports people who see things differently and who desire to go above and beyond their current roles
  • Demonstrates confidence in the judgment and capabilities of the team, peers, and leaders as well as his/her own
  • Encourages discussion and provides needed coaching/feedback to build a climate in which team can succeed in bringing value and be proud of their work.
  • Treats everyone with respect, dignity, and multi-cultural sensitivity. Acts with transparency and fairness in all transactions with customers and employees, i.e. customer relations, hiring, coaching, employee development
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experienced at working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels and build relationships with stakeholders and clients
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Significant traffic enforcement experience (crash investigations, etc.) a strong asset

The US salary range for this position is provided in this posting. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
