THE OPPORTUNITY:

As our Chief of Staff, you will be the right hand to the CEO and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the entire organization. You will wear many hats, from managing business performance to spearheading key projects and initiatives. You'll be a problem-solver, a strategist, and a trusted advisor, all rolled into one.

Responsibilities

Strategic Support and Execution (40%):

 

  • Support the CEO in developing and executing business initiatives that support BusPatrol's strategy and mission; ensure timely execution as planned
  • Be a constant enabler to ensure that the CEO's agenda and organizational priorities are continuously reinforced in the short, medium and long-term execution of the business
  • Be a designated stand in that drives organizational priorities and decision velocity as required to help scale the CEO
  • Assist the CEO in capturing and assessing market trends, competitive intelligence, and technology developments that are key to sustaining BusPatrol's long-term right to win.

 

Performance Management (25%):

  • Monitor business performance (via BusPatrol's enterprise scorecard), uncover drivers in performance trends, and drive solutions/focus on implementing initiatives to address performance improvements
  • Drive accountability for key action items and strategic initiatives across the organization; monitor progress against the items and address potential roadblocks
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective alignment, prioritization, and execution of business initiatives

Communication and Stakeholder Management (25%):

  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other senior leaders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Reinforce BusPatrol's continuous improvement and high-performance culture in how you shape and support CEO communications
  • Develop comprehensive strategy and enablement decks, Board communications, external presentations, and other high-impact presentations and documents
  • Coordinate and manage executive meetings, including agenda setting, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items
  • Represent the CEO in various meetings and forums as needed.

Special Projects and Ad Hoc Support (10%):

  • Lead and support special projects as assigned by the CEO, providing analytical and strategic insights
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and provide recommendations on various business challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a consulting role, with at least 1 year experience as an Engagement Manager or Project Leader
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Ability to influence without authority, develop relationships, and work with Senior and Executive Leadership Team members
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex data
  • Proven ability to prepare clear, concise, and persuasive presentations and memos
  • Proven track record of success in managing complex projects and initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

The US salary range for this position is provided in this posting. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
