Experience:  5+ years professional end to end Talent Acquisition experience supporting technical roles including IT, Software Developers, Hardware Engineering, Business Intelligence and Product Management recruitment in the US and Canada with an ability to discuss roles in context (technical terminology) within the software development space. Global recruiting experience is strongly preferred.

Recruiting the right talent for BusPatrol is critical in our ability to continue to innovate and build our reputation as a leading Artificial Intelligence and IoT company; the BusPatrol Talent Acquisition group is reinventing how we recruit top talent; we are seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Technical Recruiter/Talent Partner to support our IT, Engineering, Business Intelligence and Product Management groups.

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Sr. Technical Talent Partner will drive the development of internal/external recruiting relationships and act as a direct consultant to our business leaders and candidates moving through the talent acquisition process. In this role you will be able to determine the best approach to successfully prioritize, execute, and close challenging tech/engineering searches, while maintaining a line of sight to benchmarks and metrics. Our Talent Partners are truly able to influence and impact the verticals they support and thrive in our science based and innovative approach to talent engagement, employer value propositions and the overall talent acquisition process. The best candidates draw on experience in engineering/technical talent delivery and have built solid industry networks. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation and development and are highly organized. They possess the ability to prioritize, push back, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, all while contributing to healthy team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a highly integrated and consultative end to end talent acquisition process from completing a comprehensive intake to sourcing, screening, and submitting candidates to reviewing and advising on hiring team feedback and ultimately closing candidates 
  • Consistently create an incredible candidate experience to drive positive employment brand awareness. 
  • Use various job boards, databases, and programs/platforms to recruit active and passive candidates focused on ability/past performance, career alignment, cultural fit, and motivation.
  • Partner with other Talent Partners on fostering excellence in the team's culture and driving productivity. 
  • Partner regularly with hiring teams to build and execute effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations. 
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (Compensation, HR, business leaders, etc.) 
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company. 
  • Evaluate external labor market conditions and internal employee turnover trends to recommend changes to the existing recruitment activities to meet changing market conditions. Strong candidates will have the opportunity to participate in organizational design of verticals they support based on industry knowledge and tech company best in class solutions 
  • Support Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence projects, as needed and based on interest and expertise

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional end to end Talent Acquisition experience supporting technical roles including IT, Software Development, Hardware Engineering, Data and Product Management recruitment in the US and Canada with an ability to discuss roles in context (technical terminology) within the software development space.
  • Proven experience and success in the independent and self-directed recruitment of technical roles at various levels (entry, mid, senior). Demonstrated excellence in strategic and analytical thinking, ability to translate business objectives into opportunities for talent strategy. Poised approach to problem solving amongst diverse audiences and populations
  • Experience using technical assessment platforms and solutions preferred (e.g. Coderbyte, HackerRank)
  • Proven experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with customer service orientation; ability to act as a consulting partner demonstrating tact and sensitivity, and the ability to adjust when different situations require an adjusted approach.
  • Demonstrated ability establishing comprehensive and effective sourcing and advertising strategies based on Talent Acquisition best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of interviewing techniques such as Performance Based Hiring and/or Advanced Behavioral Interviewing.
  • Experience executing Talent Acquisition Processes within applicant tracking systems (ATS), searching databases, using texting platform integrations, calendar scheduling applications etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing software.
  • Strong ability to work with technology including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, IT, Business Administration or similar field is preferred
