Senior Manager, Sales Operations

 

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving data-informed decision-making across the commercial organization. This role will lead the design and optimization of sales processes, provide actionable insights, and enable scalable growth through thoughtful analytics, planning, and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior executives to shape strategic planning and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to influence business direction.
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Diagnose bottlenecks in the commercial engine and develop solutions to accelerate the sales cycle, increase win rates, and improve conversion.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to strengthen pipeline management, establish forecasting cadences, set quotas, and monitor sales performance.
  • Lead territory design and account segmentation, building fair, strategic, and data-driven coverage models that align with growth objectives.
  • Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics to guide executive decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance to align on growth reporting, commission tracking, and performance-related metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, Revenue Operations, or a related commercial strategy role.
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership on go-to-market planning, pipeline management, and sales performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Familiar with GTM tech stack, e.g.  pipeline management tool, forecasting tool, RFP automation tool, etc.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales forecasting, territory design, and quota management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing executive-level decision-making.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and foster collaboration between Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
