Overview

The Director of Enterprise Procurement will lead the organization’s strategic sourcing and procurement operations across all business units within BusPatrol. Reporting to the SVP of Procurement, the Director of Enterprise Procurement will oversee spend categories including: 

  • Software & SaaS licensing
  • Cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) 
  • Telecom, data connectivity, and IoT m2m plans 
  • End-user computing and workplace technology (laptops, devices, peripherals)
  • Corporate services (facilities, real estate leases, professional services, corporate travel, payment processing, and related enterprise contracts) 

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role is responsible for driving cost optimization, building resilient supplier relationships, implementing best-in-class procurement practices, and ensuring alignment in purchasing across all business units. By establishing this function, the ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, category spending, risk management and digital procurement.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Procurement Leadership

  • Build and lead the Enterprise Procurement function, consolidating previously fragmented spend categories into a coordinated operation using industry best practices.
  • Provide executive visibility into enterprise spend, ensuring Finance and leadership have a consolidated view.
  • Establish procurement as a trusted partner to all business units, balancing governance and financial rigor with stakeholder needs.
  • Establish procurement KPIs and benchmarks to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Develop, implement and communicate policies and procedures
  • Work closely with finance to define priorities and establish systems and processes

Cost Optimization & Commercial Negotiation

  • Lead major negotiations, RFPs, and supplier engagements across SaaS, cloud, telecom/IoT, and other enterprise categories.
  • Drive measurable savings while securing favorable commercial terms through benchmarking, best practices and market-based pricing.
  • Work with business units and Finance and to identify opportunities to reduce costs, avoid wasteful spending, and maximize vendor value.

 

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Oversee the contract lifecycle for enterprise vendors, including SaaS agreements, real estate leases, and service renewals.
  • Ensure renewals and terminations are proactively managed with sufficient lead times for negotiation.
  • Partner closely with Legal on terms, compliance, and risk management.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align vendor sourcing with business requirements.
  • Ensure procurement is engaged early in the process to guide vendor selection, negotiations, and commercial terms.
  • Drive adoption of procurement best practices while enabling departments to achieve operational and strategic goals.

 

Team Leadership & Department Building

  • Manage at least one resource (to be hired).
  • Play a key role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing the sourcing manager role.
  • Lead with influence, executive presence, and a hands-on mindset during the early build phase.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in a management or Director level role.
  • Strong track record negotiating SaaS, cloud, and telecom/IoT vendor agreements.
  • Experience with vendor management, contract lifecycle management, and RFP processes.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience inside a SaaS, cloud, or telecom provider in pricing, finance, or procurement a plus.

The US salary range for this position is provided in this posting. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
