Overview

BusPatrol is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our growing Finance team. This role will play a critical part in strengthening our accounting operations, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic financial decision-making across the organization.

 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, proven experience from a Big 4 public accounting firm, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will be responsible for managing the software capitalization process, coordinating with international accounting partners, developing cash flow projections, and leading key month-end close activities.

 

In addition, this role will contribute to the implementation of process enhancements, assist with annual financial audits, and act as a trusted partner to business leaders across departments. We’re looking for someone who combines technical accounting expertise with a collaborative, hands-on approach and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Software Capitalization process including obtaining inputs from software engineers to conduct monthly analyses and complete month end close tasks. Share results with management team and work with team members to build upon current process
  • Lead coordination efforts with international third party vendor who is responsible for accounting for newly established Indian legal entity. Assist in defining new processes, establishing controls, and integrating processes within management framework.
  • Compile weekly cash flow projections and monthly cash flow statements
  • Complete monthly analyses over defined areas to gain better insights and assist in operational decision making.
  • Assist in implementing process enhancements and improvements within our business processes including within our ERP system, NetSuite.
  • Support in the coordination of the annual financial statement audits.
  • Develop and foster positive relationships with all functional teams and leaders within the organization.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting required; CPA license required;
  • Big 4 Public accounting experience required of 3+ years;
  • At least 4+ years of work experience in finance and accounting – Some preferred within growing, fast-paced organizations;
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred);
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (in particular MS Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).

  • Creative thinker; fast on their feet; proactive versus reactive;

The US salary range for this position is provided in this posting. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
